CEDAR FALLS - Bernard Neil Kressley, 77, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 23, 1928, in Stout, son of Elmer L. and Georgia M. Fouts Kressley. He married Arlene Franke June 9, 1946, in Waterloo.

Mr. Kressley worked for Rath Packing Co. for 40 years and for the last five years was a crossing guard at Hansen Elementary and Holmes Junior High.

Survived by his wife; three sons, Robert N. of Cedar Falls, Frank L. of Los Angeles and John T. (Gail) of Hayes, Va.; three daughters, Barbara L. (Tadd) Nichols of Independence, Beth (Frank) Adams of Waterloo and Berna Deane (Robert) Webb of LeMars; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ervin of Waterloo; and his twin sister, Janell Bacon of Goleta, Calif.

Preceded in death by a grandson in infancy; a granddaughter; and a sister, Fannie Hook.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
