Funeral arrangements are pending at Nelson-Richardson Funeral Home for Julius Jensen who died last night at the Western Home 35 days after his 100th birthday.

He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1869, son of Peter and Anna Jensen. He married Anna Jensen March 11, 1897 in Harland, where they farmed before moving to a farm near Cedar Falls. For 31 years before his retirement at 78, he was a city employe. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and had lived at Western Home for about seven years.

Survivors are three sons, Oscar of 1124 Main, Earnest of Los Angeles, Calif., and Leonard of Kansas City, Mo.; four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Holm of 316 E. 10th, Mrs. Bertise Andersen of 326 Oak, Waterloo, and twins, Mrs. Esther Adams of Waterloo and Mrs. Edith Fisher of 316 W. 1st; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife.
