WATERLOO - Evelyn Lloyd, 89, of Waterloo, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at Bartels Lutheran Home, Waverly.

She was born Aug. 18, 1924, in Sydney, Mo., daughter of Albert and Nellie Harlen Patterson. She married Lawrence Wayne Lloyd on Aug. 3, 1944, in Kirksville, Mo. He died Sept. 11, 1997.

Evelyn sold Shaklee Products from home and also was a homemaker. She was a member of Cedar Valley Community Church.

Survived by a daughter, Ladonna (Todd) Rowell of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Melissa (Ben) Trueg, Michael (Nadja) Harkrider and Amanda Harkrider; four great-grandchildren, Riley Freund, Maci Freund, Avery Freund and Kylie Moore; a brother, Doc (Pat) Patterson of St. Joseph, Mo.; three sisters, Alice Denver and Lois Glotzbach, both of St. Joseph, Mo., and Eloise Hartman of Spokane, Wash.

Preceded in death by a brother, George Patterson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and also for an hour before services Wednesday, both at the funeral home.
