CEDAR FALLS - Edward G. Wilderbuer, 87, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

He was born Aug. 6, 1926, in rural Butler County, son of Henry and Florence Aswegan Wilderbuer. He married Pauline Belz on Dec. 19, 1947, in Nashua.

Mr. Wilderbuer served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was employed with Clay Equipment for 40 years, retiring in January 1988 as shipping foreman.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Janis (Martin) Keesy of Cedar Falls; and three grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, David and Bill.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Service, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and also for an hour before services Tuesday.
