CEDAR FALLS - Eleanor "Ellie" Lillis Arntson, 87, of Cedar Falls, died at the Banner hospice unit in Peoria, Ariz., Jan. 22, 2014.

She was born in Bronx, N.Y., to William and Lulu Stetter on Oct. 29, 1926. She married William Lillis in 1947 who preceded her in death in 1997. They had four children, Stephen, Kristine, Janet and William Jr. She married Ronald Arntson of Cedar Falls in February 2002. He has two sons, Brian and John, both of Cedar Falls.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald; four children, Stephen Lillis (Camille) of Haledon, N.J., Kristine Ozgar (Robert) of Finksburg, Md., Janet (Michael) of Windsor, Calif., and William Lillis (Bridget) of Downingtown, Pa.; two stepsons, Brian Arntson (Shelly) and John Arntson (Brenda), both of Cedar Falls; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wm. Lillis; two brothers, Warren and William; and a sister, Helen.

She loved our Lord, her precious family and will be remembered for her SMILE.
