WATERLOO - Nola Helene Dohrman, 60, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, from complications of a cancer illness.

She was born Sept. 13, 1953, in Waterloo, daughter of Orlynn Henry and Freda Henrietta DeVries Harms. On April 1, 1972, she married Jeffrey Dohrman at the Christian Reformed Church in Iowa Falls.

She graduated from Iowa Falls High School in 1971, and then she attended Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls. She worked as a sales associate for Walmart for 18 years primarily in Waterloo. She was a member of Grace Reformed Church in Waterloo.

Survived by her husband; a son, Jason of Buffalo, N.Y.; a daughter, Melissa (Warren) Dempsey of Virginia Beach, Virg.; four grandchildren; her parents of Aplington; and a brother, David (Linda) Harms of Middlebury, Ind.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Reformed Church, Waterloo, with burial in Memorial Cemetery, Austinville. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Redman-Schwartz Chapel, Aplington, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
