Services for Paul Aumer, 69, of 501 Kimball Ave., will be 11 am. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

There will be a Scripture service at 7 p.m. Thursday and rosary will be said by the Knights of Columbus at 8 p.m. Thursday, both at Oppold Funeral Home, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials may be given in his name to the American Cancer Society or the church.

Mr. Aumer died Monday morning at Schoitz Memorial Hospital of cancer.

He was born June 25, 1911, at St. Paul, Minn., son of John and Mary Gegelski Aumer. He married Mary C. Tracy Sept. 10, 1935, at St. Paul, Minn.

He was manager of Gateway Transportation from 1952 until his retirement in 1976.

Surviving are his wife; four sons, Edward of Cooper City, Fla., Gary of Cedar Rapids, Michael of Indianapolis, Ind., David of 1310 Magnolia Parkway; two daughters, Mrs. Jan Smith of 2327 W. Fourth St. and Mary Jo Aumer of 1239 Magnolia Parkway; nine grandchildren; four brothers, George, of Pine City, Minn., Robert and Richard, both of St. Paul, and Donald of Hawthorne, Calif.; and three sisters, Mrs. Ann Behling, Mrs. Rose Gove and Mrs. Mary Jane Gibbons, all of St. Paul, Minn.
