Funeral services for Mrs. Harry Israel, 88, of 2109 California St., will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Mrs. Israel died of a heart attack at her home Monday.

She was born Laura Augusta Strehlow on May 13, 1876, in Watertown, Wis.; and was married to Lawrence J. Caffrey in 1896. He died about 1910.

On Aug. 3, 1915, she was married to Harry Israel who was owner of Israel's Cothing Store here. He died June 11, 1961.

She belonged to the Cedar Falls RPEA chapter of which she was a former president. She also was a member of the Cedar Falls Woman's Club and the Tuesday Club here. She attended St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carlton Walker, 546 Sunset Rd., Waterloo; and a sister. Miss Ida Elizabeth Strehlow, Wauwatosa, Wis.

Besides her parents and her husbands she was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Friends may call at me Dahl Funeral Home until noon Wednesday. The casket wil not be opened in the church. Burial will be Thursday morning in Rose Hill cemetery, Chicago. Friends wishing may contribute memorials to St. Luke's building fund.
