WATERLOO - Nicholas “Nick” L. Rodgers, 60, of Waterloo, died Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital.

He was born March 10, 1953, in Oelwein, son of Francis and Doris Pint Rodgers.

Mr. Rodgers had worked in maintenance for IBP/Tyson.

Survived by his parents of Waterloo; his significant other, Quincana Ellner of Waterloo; a daughter, Nicki (Efren) Guitron of Waterloo; two sons, Victor (Veronica) Barber Jr. and Joshua (Karen) Halley, both of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Jonathon, Alyzabeth, Christopher, Kamryn and McKenna; three brothers, Joe (Sue) Rodgers of Lanesboro, Minn., Pat (Linda) Rodgers of Waterloo and Tom Rodgers of Center Point; and a sister, Daylene (Tom Gehl) Schloemer of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a brother and sister in infancy.

Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today and an hour before services Friday at the chapel.
