JESUP - Patricia J. Owen, 65, of Jesup, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

She was born June 25, 1948, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Arol and Lillian Price Trewin. On Aug. 7, 1982, she married Arthur L. “Butch” Owen at the First Presbyterian Church, Jesup; he died Nov. 13, 2003.

She graduated from Jesup High School and then Gates Business College. Mrs. Owen worked as a dietitian before retirement.

Survived by a son, Brian (Sharon) of Jamul, Calif.; two grandchildren; a sister, Clara Smith of Clarksville; and a sister-in-law, Lynda Trewin of Denver, Colo.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Arol David Trewin.

Graveside services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at White Funeral Home, Jesup.
