Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p. m. at the Dunkerton Baptist Church of Mrs Geneve Bartholomew, 87, a former Dunkerton resident. Mrs. Bartholomew died Thursday in Arlington, Va., of complications incident to advanced age. The Rev. Richard Milne pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Dunkerton.

Mrs. Bartholomew was born Geneve Van Etten, April 26, 1873, in Black Hawk County the daughter of Christian and Elizabeth Van Etten. She was a member of Dunkerton Baptist Church. She was married to Earl Bartholomew Sept. 1, 1890, at Dunkerton. He preceded her Jan. 9, 1915. Mrs. Bartholomew had lived with a daughter, Mrs. Russell McNellis, in Arlington, for the past four years.

Surviving are another daughter, Mrs; Elmer Rechkemmer of Dunkerton; two sons, Joe and Dan, both of Dunkerton; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, her husband, four sisters and one brother.

Friends may call at the Dunkerton Chapel of Memories after 1:30 p. m. Sunday.
