[Waterloo Semi Weekly Courier, Friday, April 8, 1910, Waterloo, Iowa]

The remains of Mrs. Morris Watson were brought here Saturday from Wyoming, where she had lived the past two and a half years.

Mrs. Watson was born and raised in this vicinity.

Funeral services were held from the M. E. church Sunday at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. Mr. Shoemaker of Shell Rock.

Besides the husband and four children Mrs. Watson leaves a father, John French, and one sister. The youngest of the four children is but an infant.

Mrs. Watson realized she could not live and had planned all her funeral arrangements, choosing the hymns she wished sung and naming: six of her cousins for pallbearers. She wanted a Methodist minister to conduct her funeral. She was a member of the Methodist church at Wyoming, where she lived.
