CEDAR FALLS - Phyllis Helen Hill, 83, of Cedar Falls, formerly of the Quad Cities, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center, Cedar Falls.

She was born April 16, 1930, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Albert and Helen Pecenka Halupnick. She married John Hill on June 4, 1950, in Cedar Falls. He died May 17, 1994.

She attended Hudson Community Schools and was a homemaker throughout her adult life.

Survived by a son, Scott (Linda) of Davenport; four daughters, Rebecca Hill of Mustang, Okla., Melody (Damon) Davis of Cedar Falls, Rada Hill of Bettendorf and Dorrie (Ron) Marshall of Des Moines; seven grandchildren, Kelly Nielsen, Jenny Dipple, Zach Hill, Zach Gardner, Ian and Aaron Davis, and Raquel Liskey; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred “Fritz” and William “Bill” Halupnick; two sisters, Madeline Rogers and Mildred Karkosh; and a grandson, Bret Hill.

Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Richardson Funeral Service, followed by a reception at the Cedar Falls Community Center.
