DUNKERTON - Beverly A. "Bev" Pugh, 78, formerly of Dunkerton, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at Rosewood Estates, Waterloo.

She was born in 1935 in Allen County, Kan., daughter of Waldo and Ruby Smith Adams. She married Robert "Bob" Pugh on April 13, 1954.

Mrs. Pugh graduated from Humboldt High School, Humboldt, Kan., in 1953, and attended business college in Omaha, Neb. She worked as a secretary to the superintendent of the Dunkerton schools, retiring in 1981.

Survived by her husband; a son, Michael of Hannibal, Mo.; a daughter, Cheryl Redies of Sun Tan Valley, Ariz.; and a granddaughter, Tiffany Redies of Sun Tan Valley.

Preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Dorothy and Wanda.

Memorial services: 3 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, 301 S. Washington St., Dunkerton.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
