WATERLOO - Lisa Maria Roszell, 48, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of cancer.

She was born Feb. 25, 1965, in Waterloo, daughter of Rubben and Lela Bean Barker. She married Steve Roszell on May 18, 1984, in Waterloo; they were later divorced.

She had been a housekeeper at the Super 8 for many years.

Survived by her mother, Lela Sheffler of Waterloo; a son, Kris (CJ) Roszell, of Waterloo; two daughters, Kelee Roszell and Kami (Tony) Brinyark, both of Waterloo; five grandchildren; four brothers, Rusty (Dee) Barker and Robbie (Pat) Barker, both of Waterloo, and Randy (Vicki) Barker and Mike (Jennifer) Barker, both of Farmington, Minn.; a sister, Lori Morris of Waterloo; her stepmother, Thelma Barker of Waterloo; a stepsister, Heather Webb of Waterloo; and a special friend, Marty Sheffler of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her father; her stepfather, Kenneth Sheffler; and a stepsister, Kim Gustafson.

Services: a family-directed memorial service will take place at a later date. Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
