CEDAR FALLS - Sharon "Sheri" Lindaman, 60, of Cedar Falls, died at home Wednesday, May 4, 2005, of cancer.

She was born May 24, 1944, in Fort Riley, Kan., daughter of Ervin and LaVon Uhlenhopp Diekman. Sheri married Marvin "Marv" Lindaman Feb. 14, 1965, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

Mrs. Lindaman graduated from Aplington High School and continued her education at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls. She worked at the Cedar Falls High School for 36 years and retired in 1999 as the principals secretary.

Survivors include her husband of Cedar Falls; a son, Jeffrey (Roxanne) of Iowa City; a daughter, Jennifer Lindaman of Iowa City; two grandchildren; her mother of Aplington; and a brother, Terrill (Denise) Diekman of Elgin.

Preceded in death by her father.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Aplington. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Redman-Schwartz Funeral Chapel in Aplington and for one hour before services at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family or Cedar Valley Hospice in Waverly.
