Olive M. Tippett, 91, of Prescott, Ariz., formerly of the Waterloo-Cedar Falls area, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000 in Prescott of natural causes.

She was born March 24, 1909, in Fairbank, daughter of August and Grace Jolley Bahe. She married James Tippett Nov. 12, 1944, in Pasco, Wash. He died June 28, 1992. Mrs. Tippett was a high school math teacher for 38 years, having taught in Geneseo for 28 years and later in Orange, Calif., for 10 years, retiring in 1971.

Survived by a nephew, James Copsey of Mayer, Ariz.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd and Clayton; and a sister, Leona Wallace.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday at Garden View Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
