Helen E. Jensen, 82, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at the Lutheran Home of natural causes.

She was born July 11, 1918, in Reinbeck, daughter of Sophus and Marie S. Chritiansen* Hermansen. She married Ernest Jensen on May 29, 1948, in Cedar Falls.

Mrs. Jensen had been employed as a secretary/bookkeeper for Takin Brothers Moving and Storage, Waterloo.

Survived by her husband; two sons, Al of Castic, Calif., and Steve of Carlisle; three grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie Gehrke of Waterloo and Mildred Arends of Cedar Falls; and a brother, Stanley Hermansen of Dike.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Fredsville Lutheran Church, rural Cedar Falls, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home, with family present from 4 to 6 p.m. Visitation also for an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
