Viola L. Moon, 83, of Waterloo, formerly of Independence, died Sunday, March 24, 1996, in the Cedar Falls Health Care Center after a short illness.

Services: 2 p.m. Friday, White Funeral Home, Independence, where friends may call after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters, Marleen Craun of Sumner, Marietta Williams of Des Moines and Melva Usher of Edmond, Okla.; a son, L. Cecil of Davenport; and a brother, Leo Carlson of Amity, Ark.
