CEDAR FALLS - Frank Joseph Sole, 66, formerly of 3112 Boulder Drive, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000 at Windsor Nursing & Rehab Center of natural causes

He was born Aug. 15, 1934, in Los Angeles, son of Jack S. and Lucille Scarrett Sole. He married Linda Gayle Bondy on Jan. 23, 1965, in Las Vegas. They were later divorced.

Mr. Sole served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a supervisor with McDonnell-Douglas Aeronautics, Torrance, Calif., until retiring in 1994.

Survived by a son, Jack of Cedar Falls; and two daughters, Melissa Ann Houle of Cedar Falls and Deena Marie Sole of Bangor, Maine; six grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Kott of Walnut, Calif.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m., and also for an hour before services at the church Friday.
