WATERLOO— Franklin N. Law, 81, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Waterloo, died in San Antonio on Saturday, Aug. 19, 1995, of natural causes,

He was born July 14, 1914, in Waterloo, son of William Robert and Mary Makepeace Morris Law. He married Virginia Matthews.

Mr. Law received his law degree from the University of Iowa. He was instrumental in establishing the Mary Makepeace Law Court Theatre in the Waterloo Recreation Center. He was a veteran of World War II..

Survived by his wife; three daughters, Nancy Law of Houston, and Marian Townsend and Eleanor O'Gorman, both of San Antonio; four grandchildren; and a sister, Marian Law of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a brother, Bob of Kansas City, Mo.

Services were 12:30 p.m. Monday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, with burial in Mission Burial.Park South, both in San Antonio. Porter Loring, San Antonio, was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to charity of donor's choice.
