WATERLOO — Edith I. Sinders, 82, of Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center, formerly of 1659 Locke Ave., died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1998, of natural causes.

She was bom March 13, 1916, in La Porte City, daughter of James H. and Ella A. Lewis McNamee. She married Gilbert C. Sinders on Sept. 29,1933. in Waterloo. He died May 6, 1993.

Survived by two sons, Eddie of Houston, Texas, and Bob of Waterloo; three daughters, Beverly Boemecke of Pacific Palisades, Calif., Jeanette Steiner of Waterloo and Betty Wood of Cedar Falls; and 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Jerry Dean; a granddaughter; three brothers, Stanley, Jesse and Harold McNamee; and a sister, Delilah McLoury.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, Waterloo, with burial in West View Cemetery, La Porte City. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and for an hour before services Saturday at the chapel.
