Earl Biernbaum, 66, of 277 Toneff Dr., died 8 a. m. Sunday at Allen Memorial Hospital from asthma.

He was born in Pawnee, Ill., Sept. 8, 1898, the son of Frank and Lulla Biernbaum. On Nov. 30, 1930, he married Martha Mundt here.

The former meat department manager for Buehler Bros, store here, he retired in 1961. Mr. Biernbaum was a member of the Trinity American Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his widow; one brother, Glenn, Virginia, Ill.; and two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Coy, Springfield, Ill, and Mrs. Frances Olgive, Gallup, N. M.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Locke funeral home.
