Funeral services for Robert J. Bolander, 58, of 525 Cataract Ave., will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Overton Funeral Home in Dysart, with the Rev Harley Carbaugh,; pastor of Geneseo United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be sin the Dysart Cemetery. Mr, Bolander died at Schoitz Memorial Hospital , Saturday night of a heart condition.

He was born Oct. 5, 1914, in Waterloo, the son of Joseph and Pauline Siebold Bolander.

He, married Esther Peters on Dec. 31, 1939, at Dysart. They lived first in Ackley, were Mr. Bolander was employed by the WCF & N Railroad. They later moved to Geneseo Township and farmed, in that area for several years before moving to Waterloo about eight years ago. After moving to Waterloo, Mr. Bolander was a driver-attendant for the Waterloo Ambulance and Wrecker Service.

Survivors include his mother of Ackley; his wife; a son, Joseph D. of Indianapolis, Ind.; and a grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father.
