WATERLOO - Clifford W. Cantrell, 76, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

He was born March 4, 1929, in Webster County, Mo., son of Hobert and Verda Dotson Cantrell. He married Mildred Langston Aug. 5, 1956, in Waterloo. She died May 13, 2002.

Mr. Cantrell was employed with Rath Packing Co. for 31 years.

Survived by a son, Roland E. "Rolly" of Waterloo; two daughters, Pamela A. Cantrell and Diana K. Cantrell, both of Waterloo; two granddaughters, Heather Cantrell and Melissa Cantrell, both of Waterloo; a brother, William "Hobie" of Niangua, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by an infant son, Frederick; and five sisters, Luella Moore, Betty Jackson, Shirley Jo Cantrell, Mildred Cantrell and Lola Weiss.

Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today and for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
