LA PORTE CITY-Services for John Stanley Moline, 61, of 703 Main St., Apt. C, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church with burial in West View Cemetery. Mr. Moline died of cancer Monday afternoon at Schoitz Medical Center, Waterloo.

He was born Dec. 22, 1922, at Alta, son of John W. and Edith Stolberg Moline. He married Ila Jean Hackerson June 19, 1943, at La Porte City. She died Sept. 26, 1981.

He served with the Army during World War II. He was employed by Rath Packing Co. in Waterloo for 29 years, retiring in 1981.

He is survived by three sons, Gary D. of Oakland, Calif., David A. of Mount Auburn and John S. Moline Jr. of Marietta, Ga.; two brothers, Raymond of Hobbs, N.M., and Darrell of La Porte City; a sister Alfhid Vavra of Tustin, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Huisman-Dykeman Chapel.
