Services for James L. Finn, 65, 1031 Evergreen Ave., will he 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Blessed Sacrement Catholic Church with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery. There will be a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday at Oppold Funeral Home where friends may call after noon Thursday. Mr. Finn died at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

He was born March 11, 1914 at Lead, S.D., son of Thomas and Kathryn Kearney Finn. He married Nellie Craig Nov. 23, 1935, at Waterloo. He had been employed at the John Deere Tractor Works as an inspector, retiring in 1957.

Survivors include his wife; six sons James R. and John T. of 226 Leland Ave., Lawrence C. of 1212 Langley Road, Terrance F. of the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Knoxville, Michael P. of 709 Dundee St., and Thomas J. of LaCrescent Minn.; one daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Gorman, 1123 Main St., Cedar Falls ; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Harold of 422 Elm St., Patrick of 321 Elk Run Heights, and Thomas of Omaha, Neb.; three sisters, Mrs. John Bergstrom, 1436 Garden Ave., Mrs. Jay Davis, 6300 Lafayette Road, Raymond, and Mrs Harry Nissen, of 424 Almond St.

Memorials may be given to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
