Services for George Ehmen, 53, of Janesville, formerly of Waterloo, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sumyside Temple with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Ehmen died Tuesday night at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls of a cerebral hemorrhage.

He was born Nov. 25, 1925, in Kamrar, the son of Henry and Grace Franken Ehmen. He was the owner and operator of George's Feed and. Grain in Janesville. He previously had been a partner in the Wagoner Supply and Elevator in Parkersburg and previously farmed in the Dike, Allison and Orange Township areas. He married Wilma Weber Feb. 26, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nev.

Survivors include a son, Dallas Ehmen of 1912 Waterloo Road, Cedar Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Miller of 4634 Ansborough Ave.; two stepsons, Daryl Uhlenhopp of Parkersburg and Darwin Uhlenhopp at home; three brothers, Harold of Grundy Center, Ben of Louisville, Ky., and Richard of Dike; three sisters, Mrs. Anne Beckman of Grundy Center, and Mrs. Helen Winterberg and Mrs. Bertha Henricks, both of Apiington; four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Chapel of Memories West until 9 p.m. Thursday and at the church Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
