CEDAR FALLS - Kathryn Ann Anderson, 55, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Cedar Falls, died at home Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, after a sudden illness.

She was born Aug. 25, 1949, in Waterloo, daughter of Edward and Thelma Anderson Sr. She was a 1968 graduate of Kennedy High, Cedar Rapids, and received her bachelors degree in 1972 from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls. Then she taught in Lennox. Later she received her masters degree from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley. She taught in Coggon and Cedar Rapids. She worked at the Capital Childrens Museum, Alexandria, Va., the Arlington Visitors Center, Arlington, Va., and at a museum in Denver, Colo.

Survivors include her parents of Cedar Rapids; and two brothers, John and Eddie Anderson, both of Cedar Rapids.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids, where friends may call for an hour before. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Following the service there will be a reception at the Center at Meth-Wick Manor, 1224 13th St. N.W.

Memorials may be given to Camp Courageous in her name.
