WATERLOO - Hanna G. Harken, 92, formerly of 2804 Roland Ave., died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at Sunnycrest Nursing Center, Dysart, of natural causes.

She was born April 14, 1914, in Ackley, daughter of Berend and Lena Boheman Harken. She worked in the canned ham department at Rath Packing Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1975.

Survived by a sister, Gertrude Rekers of West Palm Beach, Fla.

Preceded in death by two brothers, C.J. and Raymond Harken; and two sisters, Janette Stewart and Ann Lusk.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Sunnycrest Nursing Center in Dysart.
