LA PORTE CITY - Grace Violet Timmer, infant daughter of Ashley Timmer and Alan Humphrey, was stillborn Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

Survived by her mother, Ashley (Charity Heller) Timmer of La Porte City; her father, Alan Humphrey of Dunkerton; maternal grandparents, Tracie (Cory) Bengston and Michel (Janan) Timmer, both of La Porte City, and Lydia Heller of Oelwein; paternal grandparents, Sarah (Lee) Herman of Fairbank; maternal great-grandparents, Gail Pfiffner of La Porte City, Tom (Carolyn Kessell) Pfiffner of Waterloo, Bruce Mehlert of Mount Auburn, and Cookie (Norbert) Webb and Dick (Sally) Sides, both of La Porte City; paternal great-grandparents, Robert (Siong) Hauptly of Waterloo; and aunts and uncles, Preston Kruckenberg of La Porte City, Austin, Andrew and Allison Timmer of La Porte City, and Lydia and Gus Herman of Fairbank.

Preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, April Neuman, Kenneth Timmer and Kay (Larry) Heller; and paternal great-grandparents, Jonna Hauptly-Elliott and Bob (Clara) Herman.

Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at American Lutheran Church, with burial in West View Cemetery, both in La Porte City. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at La Porte City Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
