WATERLOO - Betty Moses, 81, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital.

She was born Oct. 14, 1932, in New Hampton, daughter of Charles and Lydia Taylor. She married Earl E. Moses, DDS, on July 25, 1953, in Fort Ord, Calif. He died Jan. 10, 2009.

She graduated from West High School in 1951.

Survived by three sons, Mike of Fort Madison, and Jeff and Craig, both of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Ryan (Melissa) Moses of Boise, Idaho, Thad, Bradley and Samantha Moses, all of Waterloo, Josh (Emily) Moses of Cedar Falls, and Neal Moses of Waterloo; three great-grandchildren, Parker, Max and Macy Jo; and her friend, Roberta Stoler.

Preceded in death by a son, Steven; and a sister, Patty Fairbanks.

Family committal services: will take place at Garden of Memories Cemetery following cremation. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home.
