WATERLOO - Kathryn Kalianov, 100, of Waterloo, died at home Monday, Dec. 9, 2013.

She was born April 22, 1913, in Miles City, Mont., daughter of John and Mary Trian Kosty. She married Henry Kalianov on Oct. 25, 1931, in Miles City, Mont.; he died June 16, 1971.

Mrs. Kalianov worked at Rath Packing Co. for several years.

Survived by a daughter, Dorothy (James) Held of Sun City, Ariz.; two sons, Nick (Verdene) of Tucson, Ariz., and Rick (Becky) of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Chris, Vic and Ernie Kosty; and four sisters, Eva Henley, Emma Zawada, and infants Johnna and Georgia.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Locke Funeral Home, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
