Funeral services for Mrs. Robert D. Barr, 43, of 607 Wellington Court, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home with Rev. Charles J. Gunnell, rector of Christ's Episcopal Church, in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Barr, who was associated with her husband in the Barr book store since 1939, died at 7:50 p. m. Friday at St. Francis Hospital, where she had been a patient for four weeks. Death followed a lingering illness of carcinoma.

Born as Ann L. Lindeman on May 17, 1900, on a farm in Grundy County, north of Wellsburg, Ia., she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry B. Lindeman. She taught physical education at Franklin School in Cedar Rapids for many years, and was married to Robert D. Barr on July 1, 1938.

Surviving besides her husband are three stepdaugthers, Mrs. John Leslie, 519 Dawson Street; Mrs. H. F. Bennett, Odeboldt, Ia.; and Miss Roberta Barr, kindergarten teacher at Cherokee, Ia.; and two stepsons, Homer Barr, Rockford, Ill. and Aviation Cadet Don Barr, who will complete his pilot training at Ellington Field, Tex., on Feb. 9.

Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Etta Tack and Mrs. Jennie Neihaus. both of Wellsburg; Mrs. Lizzie Tjaden, Winnebago, Minn., and Mrs. Fannie Brechwald, Ft. Dodge, and one brother, Henry H. Lindeman, Aplington, Ia.
