Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Katharine Pahl Memorial Chapel for Francis E. (Bud) Sanderson, 62 of 1643 Hawthorne Ave., who died at 1:25 p.m. Monday while working for Young Plumbing and Heating Co. on a job at 116 Eldene Court, Evansdale. An autopsy was to be performed to determine the cause of death.

Friends may call at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

He was born in Galena, Ill., on Sept. 26, 1909, the son of Elmer E. and Catherine Fitzpatrick Sanderson. He married Florence Ingersol Green on Jan. 25, 1946, in Montana.

He served with the 413th Infantry during World War II in Germany. He had been employed as a sheet metal worker and furnace installer for Young Plumbing and Heating Co. for the past 20 years and had resided in Waterloo since 1934.

Survivors include his wife; two step-sons, Robert Green of 315 Belmont St. and Everett Green of 317 Trail Ave., Evansdale; a brother, Earl of Rt. 1; three sisters, Mrs. Berniece Foster of 2531 Kenyon Ave., Mrs. Earl Green of Galena, Ill., and Mrs. Blanche Fowler of Savannah, Ill.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

Pahl Memorial Chapel in the Waterloo Memorial Park Cemeetery for Francis (Bud) Sanderson, 62, of 1643 Hawthorne Ave., who died Monday afternoon. Dr C. H. Pettersen, visitation pas tor of the Grace United Methodist Church, will officiate. Friends may call at Kearns- Dykeman Chapel until 9 p.m. Wednesday and at the chapel after 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
