WATERLOO - Sheryl Peter, 63, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born May 31, 1942, in Waterloo, daughter of C.O. Red and Elsie Kate Arvis Wildhagen. She married Walter Peter May 7, 1960, in Waterloo.

She graduated from West Waterloo High School in 1960. She enjoyed reading books and traveling.

Survived by her husband; two sons, Michael E. (Janet) of Florence, Ala., and Todd (Pam) of Kerrville, Texas; three grandchildren, Michael and Madison Peter of Florence and Emily Peter of Kerrville; and a sister, Nancy (Richard) Renzo of Traer.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a half brother, Duane Stoner.

Graveside services: 1 p.m. Friday at Waterloo Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, is in charge of arrangements.
