CEDAR FALLS - Services for L. J. (Louie) Beck, 75, of 1915 Highview Ct., will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's American Lutheran Church with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Mr. Beck died at Sartori Memorial Hospital Tuesday of a heart attack.

Born in Oelwein, Aug. 1, 1901, the son of William and Winifred McCunniff Beck, he married Christine Barkhoff on Aug. 3, 1936 at Cedar Falls. He was employed by Phillips Petroleum for 35 years.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Erlin Ruby of Pontiac, Ill., Mrs. Thomas Clark of 2553 Skyline Dr., Cedar Falls, and Mrs. John Rader of Harrington, Ill.

Those who wish may contribute to a memorial fund at St. John's American Lutheran Church.

Friends may call at the Richardson Funeral Home until 9 p.m. Thursday.
