Nancy Annette Voogd, 49, of Aplington, formerly of Waterloo, died at home Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2008, of natural causes.

She was born April 17, 1960, in Waterloo, daughter of Paul Donald and Delores Wilson Koch. She married Jon Voogd on Oct. 4, 2008, at Aplington Baptist Church, Aplington.

Mrs. Voogd graduated from Columbus High School in 1979. She was a certified nurse's aide for 25 years, working mostly at Maple Manor Care Center, Aplington.

Survived by her husband; her parents of Waterloo; two brothers, Steve Koch of Clearwater, Fla., and Dan Koch of Waterloo; and two sisters, Paula (Stephen) Todd of Kansas City, Mo., and Cathy (Loren) Podhajsky of Olathe, Kan.

Services: 6 p.m. Friday at Aplington Baptist Church, preceded by visitation and fellowship from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home, Aplington, is assisting the family.
