WATERLOO - Mildred J. Perrin, 85, of Waterloo, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born Dec. 3, 1928, in Manly, daughter of Leo J. and Gertrude Moore Henry. She married John Jr. Nolan and they later divorced. She married Paul Perrin on June 12, 1966, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Waterloo; he died July 12, 2006.

A graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Council Bluffs, Mrs. Perrin worked as an office supervisor with Mutual of New York Life Insurance Co. until going to Investors Professionals Services in 1984. She retired in 1993. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and served as past-treasurer. She was Past Worthy High Priestess Madonna Shrine and Past Matron Waterloo Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was past president of Victory Chapter, IAAP, and a member of the Waterloo Women’s Club.

Survived by three daughters, Susan (Charles) McNeilly of Beaverton, Ore., Kathryn (Todd) Dunning of Alamo, Texas, and Carol (Bruce) Stainbrook of Kimberling City, Mo.; two daughters-in-law, Alyce Nolan of Camino, Calif., and Doris Perrin of Winston Salem, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dolores Meyer of Auburn, Wash., and Dr. Carol Cressy of Camarillo, Calif.

Preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, David Perrin and Michael Nolan.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Locke Funeral Home, with a 6:30 p.m. Order of Eastern Star Service.
