WATERLOO — Rebecca Jo Gray Morgan, 36, of Norcross, Ga., formerly of Waterloo, died in Norcross on Saturday, Nov. 4, 1995, the victim of a drive-by shooting.

She was born July 13, 1959, in Oelwein, daughter of DuWayne L. and Norma B. Shepard Gray. She was a 1976 graduate of Waterloo Central High School and received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, in 1984.

Mrs. Morgan was the corporate accountant for Primerica Financial Service in Atlanta, and also worked at Macaroni Grill in Norcross.

Survived by two daughters, Jessica Thomason and Tiffany Morgan, both of Norcross; her parents of Waterloo; five brothers, Jim Abbas and Kelly Gray, both of Waterloo, Larry Abbas of Santa Monica, Calif., Jeffrey Abbas of Oelwein and Kevin Abbas of Des Moines; her maternal grandmother, Nellie Shepard of Waterloo; and paternal grandmother, Ethel Fox of Oelwein.

Services: 2 p.m. Thursday at The Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until services Thursday at the chapel.
