Funeral services are tentalively set for Monday morning for Mrs. Mary A. Burns, 66, of 1613 Lafayette St., who died Thursday in St. Francis Hospital.

She was born July 11, 1897 in Masonville, the daughter of John and Ella Keegan Flynn. Married to Thomas R. Burns in Masonville April 9, 1918, she came to Waterloo in 1925. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sons.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Mabel O'Donnell, Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, John Flynn, Independence; three sons, Arthur Burns, 2004 State St., Cedar Falls, Cecil, 3127 Hillcrest, Cedar Falls; and Thomas, 1341 Pleasant Valley Dr. She is also survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jean Thuesen, 1613 Lafayette; and Mrs. Audrey Panther, 323 E. 12th St., Cedar Falls; and 21 grandchildren.

Remains will be taken Saturday at 2 p.m. from O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home to the family residence, 1613 Lafayette.
