Services for Edwin George Robeson, 63, of 408 Cornwall Ave., will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Oppold Funeral Home, where friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to Columbus High School. He died at 1:10 a.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn., of cancer.

He was born Nov. 30, 1912, at Garrison, the son of George and Ora Romann Robeson. He married Bertha Matilda Lies Sept. 21, 1940, at Austin, Minn. She died Sept. 2, 1976.

Mr. Robeson was a foreman at Rath Packing Co., where he worked for 37 years before retiring in 1974 because of ill health. He served with the Iowa National Guard from 1936 to 1939.

He is survived by a son, Jim, of Sunnyvale, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Morrissey Of Fairfield; two brothers, Robert of Vinton and John of Garrison; and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Andrews of Vinton and Mrs. Rollin Perry of 2300 W. 7th St.
