EVANSDALE -- Idahmae Hibben, 80, of Evansdale, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at her son Rick’s home.

She was born June 22, 1933, in Grinnell, daughter of Harry and Greta Wells Buckridge. She married Richard "Bruce" Hibben May 7, 1956, in Cedar Rapids. He died March 21, 2000.

Idahmae was a longtime member of Cedar Falls AMVETS and later joined the Evansdale AMVETS.

Survived by two sons, James E. Hibben of Waterloo and Richard “Rick” (Ivy) Hibben Jr. of Evansdale; two daughters, Rhonda Sue (Ron) Hibben-Ginther of Marion and Kimberly Ciesielski of Rockford, Ill.; 12 grandchildren, Jenny (Todd) Hirsch, Christine Russell, Melanie (Dan) Wiley, Jami Lee Hibben, T.J. Stocks, Terry Stocks, Meghan Hibben, Aaron (Meggen) Hibben, Jennie (Adam) McFarland, Brandon Ciesielski, Cady Ciesielski and Justin Else; 21 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Amy Smith of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by two brothers, William and Richard Buckridge; and a sister, Alma Card.

Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
