WATERLOO - Haridas P. "Harry" Chittar, 59, of Waterloo, died at home Tuesday, April 25, 2006, of natural causes.

He was born July 2, 1946, in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, son of Pachari Chitiar and Lechime. He married Rosalia Maldonado on Feb. 18, 1994, in Utah. Mr. Chittar attained his Doctorate of Arts in political science. He was employed as a manager of American Color until becoming disabled.

Survivors include his wife; and a son, Haridas P. Chittar III of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and a sister.

There will be no services. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
