Miss Beulah Waterman died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Pierce Sabbath afternoon between three and four o'clock. Death came suddenly. Although a sufferer from diabetes, for four years past she has shown great fortitude and was always cheery and hopeful. She was feeling as well as usual, last Wednesday, going to Waterloo with Mrs. Pierce and the following day taking a long walk. She was taken suddenly worse Saturday and was unable to leave her bed; was ready and anxious to go to her Maker.

Deceased was 29 years of age the 3rd of last August; was born in Hyde Park, Vermont. When about nineteen father died and five years later her mother was called to the home beyond. She has been a member of the Universalist church for the past eleven years.

Three sisters and one brother survive her. Miss Waterman came to Cedar falls at 16 years of age and attended school graduating from the high school here. Later she taught several terms. From here she went to Massachusetts and four years ago left her work there on account of failing health, and spent the winter at Eureka Springs, Ark., returning to Massachusetts in the spring.

She made her home with her aunt Mrs. F. D. Pierce since last January. She has made many warm friends who deeply regret her death.

Funeral services will be held from the home of F. D. Pierce tomorrow, Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock, Rev. Tilingbast, of the Universalist Church Waterloo, officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery.
