Services for Cecil L. Blasier, 73, of 1175 Pleasant Valley Drive, who died Thursday at Sartori Memorial Hospital
as Cedar Falls, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Kaiaer-Corson Funeral Chapel in Waveriy with burial in Harlington Cemetery, Waveriy.

He was born Sept. 24, 1907, in Bremer County, son of Wellington and Matilda Killin Blasier. He married Velma L. Loy Jan. 21, 1946*

He was deputy Black Hawk County assessor for 20 years, retiring in 1977.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Max of Lakewood, Calif.; a stepsister, Mrs. Iva McRoberts of Waverly; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home until service time.
