WATERLOO — Richard E. Kent, 68, of Waterloo, died Friday, June 11, 1999, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center, Waterloo, of natural causes.

He was born July 10, 1931, in Waterloo, son of Bernard and Marjorie Habby McGonigle Kent. He retired from Crystal Ice Manufacturing, Waterloo.

Survived by two brothers, Gilbert of Waterloo and Kenneth of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, James, and Herald.

Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parfoll and Wood Family Funeral Care, with burial in Garden of Memories. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and for an hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army.
