LA PORTE CITY - Ruth E. Arenholz, 42, of Lake Ozark, Mo., formerly of La Porte City, died in a residential fire at her home Oct. 8, 1995.

She was born May 19, 1953, in Waterloo, daughter of William and Oleen Arenholz. She was the manager of fabric stores.

Survived by a daughter, Angela Williams of Merriam, Kan.; her mother of La Porte City; her father of Topeka, Kan.; a brother, David Arenholz of Waverly; and paternal stepgrandmother, Helen Arenholz of Clarksville.

Memorial services 1:30 p.m. Saturday at American Lutheran Church, with inurnment in West View Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Huisman Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
