WATERLOO - Sylvia Ann Schadle, 44, of Waterloo, died Friday, May 12, 2006, at Covenant Medical Center of cancer.

She was born Jan. 20, 1962, in Waterloo, daughter of Jerry Potter and Sylvia Louise Barker. She married Mike Hennick on Feb. 14, 1981, in Waterloo, and they were later divorced. She married Jeff Schadle on Jan. 23, 1993, in Evansdale, and they were later divorced.

Mrs. Schadle worked as a lab assistant for McKenna Color Lab in Waterloo.

Survived by her mother and stepfather, Sylvia and Jack Clemmensen of Elk Run Heights; her stepmother, Rosemary Potter of Evansdale; a son, David Hennick of Indianola; a daughter, Nichole Hennick of Elk Run Heights; two grandchildren, Taylor Torrey and Alexis Beck; a brother, Dan Potter of Waterloo; eight sisters, Anita (Jerry) Birchard of Fairbank, Cathy Vest of Clutier, Jackie Baude of Dallas, LuAnn Conrad and Sandy Davis, both of Waterloo, Susan Clemmensen and Geraldine (Steve) Gulbranson, both of Cedar Falls, and Lori (Pat) Thompson of Mistic, Conn.

Preceded in death by her father, Jerry Potter; and a nephew, Jared Taylor.

Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Central Christian Church, with burial in the Shaulis Road Cemetery. Public visitation from 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
