WATERLOO - Donna Mae Burch, 83, of Weslaco, Texas, formerly of Waterloo, died Nov. 13, 2013, at Valley Baptist Medical Center, Harlingen, Texas.

She was born Nov. 26, 1929, in Waterloo, daughter of George Washington and Iva Mae Moyer Murphy. She married Murlin John Burch on Nov. 29, 1947, in Galena, Ill. He died in January 1994.

Mrs. Burch was a seamstress.

Survived by three sons, Robert, Ralph and Larry; two daughters, Cindy Thomas and Jean Burch; and 14 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Murlin Jr.; and a daughter, LeeAnn Thompson.

Memorial services: were Monday at McCaleb Funeral Home Chapel, Weslaco. Additional memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church, 234 S. Hackett St., with graveside services in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to family in care of the Weslaco Elks Lodge No. 2057, 210 S. Border, Weslaco, TX 78596.
